Adhaan (Call To Prayer) At Your Computer

Al-Islam.org has announced a feature at their website which will allow Adhaan to occur at the location where your computer is located. For this feature to work you would need to be connected to internet and the browser window stays open. You don't have to download anything on to your computer. The utility will automatically detect your location (probably using your your IP address) ans setting and displaying the timings for all the prayers at that location.

We heard this news with great sadness that Maulana Dost Muhammad Sahib Shahid has passed away today August 26, 2009 at 3 AM Pakistan time in Rabwah, Pakistan.  Ina Illahay wa Ina Elaihey Rajeyoon.

 

No Load Shedding in Qadiyan During Jalsa Salana UK 2009

I have learned that Indian Authorities in Punjab have made arrangements that there would be no electricity cut to Qadiyan during the three days Jalsa Salana UK so that the Ahamdi people in Qadiyan can watch live proceedings of the Jalsa which will be broadcast directly from Haddiqatul Mahdi, UK. The Jalsa Salana UK program will be live broadcast by Muslim Television Ahmadiyya which can be seen live in all the five continents.

There are 3 cities in the world with the same name as London. You need to check the time for London, England.

Now a days UK time is not the same as GMT. MTA usually show GMT time in the upper right hand corner.
